People living in the 1700 block of Illinois Avenue in Lansing could be a big help in an animal abuse investigation.
A pit bull was stabbed several times by two white males and hanged in front of several witnesses on Friday, September 6.
The dog had to be put down because of its injuries.
Ingham County Animal Control officers are passing out flyers in that neighborhood in hopes of locating some of the people who may have witnessed the act.

There is a $300 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
